A little bit of fiction a little bit of you and I

Time.

Some time on hand,
Do you have to spare?
All you need to do,
Is show up with Care.
Millions of children,
Didn’t have it like you.
But you can make a difference,
In the lives of a few.
The gratitude is,
Oh, so rewarding.
It’s time you tried it,
The clock is ticking.
That little boy,
Just needs your smile.
Do you have some time,
To stay a while?
A story told,
A play in action,
A couple of hours,
And some interaction.
For her, I see,
It was more than this.
She grabbed my palm,
And planted a kiss.
All it took now,
Was some time to spare.
In our ticking lifetime,
that’s not been fair.
